This unit is so versatile that when you purchase this unit, it is almost like buying 3 units at once. The first use of this unit is as a standalone device for bedside monitoring. The Masimo Rad-7 can be plugged into the wall and will operate as a beside pulse oximeter and includes alarms.
The second use of the unit is a detachable, battery-operated wireless device which can be strapped to the wrist or carried in hand, to facilitate untethered monitoring during transport and ambulation.
The third use of this unit is the multi-parameter monitoring interface vis SatShare which allows hospitals to seamlessly implement rainbow measurement capabilities in the Rad-7 display while automatically transferring data to the Rad-7âs display for multi-parameter monitoring.
